Six more asiatics joined the hand rearing list today, three ringnecks from my aviaries, and three Alexes from my daughter Bec (freder88 if she ever gets the time to start contributing again (hint Bec!) The exciting thing is one of the Alex babies is a Lutino girl We have been waiting a long time for one to turn up. Several years ago Bec's pair produced 2 lutino's in one breeding season, but since then we have had a never ending run of greens. 1 in 4 should be lutino on the genetics, but we have probably had around 12 green babies between yellows. Anyway we have a nice big lutino baby in this clutch of 3 babies. The lutino Alex baby - the red wing patches are just becoming visible. She is already sold!! The full tub of 3 alex babies and 3 ringnecks. Ther eis quite a size difference between the oldest and youngest Alex and the lutino is the second oldest. The three ringnecks are a lutino, a green and a possible white - but it will be a girl Kat cheers, Mike

They are all doing very well - only the youngest Alex is yet to fly, and the oldest green Alex and two green ringnecks have been flying a while and are just clipped ready to go into the shop to sell next week. The yellow Alex has moved on to her new owner, a friend who is finishing off the hand raising along with an Alex of her own.
Sorry I don't have photos - just been short of time to do much lately. Hopefully once the holiday period is over in January I'll have more time for photos and posting to the forum.
cheers,
Mike
