Quails!!!
I just went to feed all the birds and some baby quails scared the crap outta me.. I had no idea a hen was on eggs for that long in the finch aviary. The majority of them are brown and theres one little silver bub in the clutch..
I'm hoping most of them will make it to adulthood,when I last had chicks there was about ten little ones and only four survived.
The mother is being a good mum and the father is helping out to with protecting and sharing the brooding of the chicks..

I will try and take some pics of the chicks tomorrow to put up..

The hen in the photo's isn't their mother, just another hen incubating her own eggs that the chicks like to hassle.. lol.
