Hi all.
Well this toy has probably been already mentioned on here but I"ll give it a shot anyway ;D ...I discovered a toy my lorikeet absolutelly loves and cant get enough of.
You know how you can get those plastic chains for childrens bedrooms where you screw the end to the ceiling and it hangs down and they can pin their stuffed toys onto it, well, I have kept that plastic chain and just hung it from the roof of the cage which hangs all the way to the bottom and my lorri can't get enough of it, he climbs up and down it all the time! I'm so pleased with my brain lol ;D

LOL, good one Indigo! They are fairly cheap aren't they! I think that is a FAB idea, in fact, I can see ALL my birds enjoying the same idea! Could even hang little forgaging things off it too! Woohoo...the brain is ticking now....

yes I have plastic chains too......just not with the alexandrines.......I had some in their aviary and in a very short time they chewed through it and the big branch swing hanging from the plastic chain.......fell down lol so now we use metal chain for them (SS)

I also buy the Fisher Price Bright Beginnings 20 Links from Big W. They are baby toys.
Or there is a cheaper one from Overflow a $1 store we have up here.
They do last a lot longer than the chain links. Especially for the bigger beaks.

Awesome, thanks Robyn, you know I have called soooooooooo many stores looking for the toy chains, and NOTHING! They think I'm mad I'm sure....well I am, but that's another story...lol. So Big W it is!! See if I can find some. We don't have the Overflow store, but I will check Big W first.
Thanks!!
