I pulled another lovebird yesterday and didn't feed it till the morning but its crop felt like it still had food in it.. I gave it some warm water and apple cider vinegar instead of food. I waited till I got home from work which was 12 and gave it its first feed, it wasn't too thick and its crop is still half full now.. What do I do??? I don't wanna starve the little fella or do something I shouldn't..

Ebony how much ACV did you give. Why do you use the ACV. I only use that as a last resort.
Was the baby empty when you fed him, was the food hottish & is the baby warm or to hot. Check those few things. You may just have to correct something. Check its mouth to make sure there is no thrush on the tongue.

well he still seems to have a slow crop, I am currently feeding him 3 times a day instead of 4 to give him more time overnight to empty out which seems to be working. He has a very strong feeding response and is quite a noisy little bugger.. I've been giving him just the formula but runnier than what I feed Tequila, who is starting to eat less and starting to nibble on millet spray..
