hi i was just wodering cause people say u can but some say u cant anyway my cookatiel shes about 1 coming up 2 anyway when we first got her she was a wondeful bird but now shes moody and only loves my dad do any of you think theres away to
increase my relationship with here i feed her and she'll eat out of my hand and i cant even go near the cage

but she hisses at me and i wouldnt say she bites but she warns you ive tried heaps of things i had brekfast with her i read with her i spent many days with her i speak with her she used to let me pat her and shed do the step up comand with me and everthing thanx

It sounds like she has bonded with your dad...........

My girl Snowy went throught this for a while but she was a bit younger..............probably around 6 months or so. I just kept perserving and trying to get her out and trying to give her scratches.........now she will come out and she will fly to me.........all the time lol and sometimes I can even give her a scratch..........but usually only after about 5 or 10 mins of protesting on her part..........then she gives in and only protests if I am not scratching her in the right spot.

My own personal experiences with the tiels is some of them can be down right moody little cows lol ...... lucky they are only small birds with small beaks lol
