Hi, my cockatiel 'garoo' is very fussy while eating. he only eats seed mix, nothing else. i tried lots of things like dry nuts, fruits etc. and he looks scared from fruits. he never tried any fruit. he loves to eat normal garden grass also. but my friend's bird (his real brother) always try to taste everything.
my 'Garoo' is more than 2 years old boy. he war 4mths old when i bought him. he is very friendly and playfull. generally sitting on top of his cage or on my shoulder most of the time. but in last 2-3 months, i noticed that he stopped whistling and calling his own name. sometimes very aggressive to me and biting very hard. and scratching his bum to one of his wooden stick in his cage and making funny bird chirping noises. during that period, he is not responding to anyone and it long last for 5-10mins. it happens atleast twice a day.
I am bit worried that if he will become completely wild and will not come to me out of cage as before. I love my birds from my heart and soul and dont want to loose my emotional connection with them. will he be alright?
