I have a flight with 3 pairs of blue series masked lovebirds. 1 of the pairs is an Albino hen and a cobalt male. There are 5 boxes in the flight, all at exactly the same height and all the same size, in a row at the back of the flight. This particular pair have from my minimal observations been banned from using a nest box by the other two pairs. The two remaining pairs have 'played' in all the other boxes and even though 1 pair hatched young in one box, and the other are sitting on eggs in an other, they still frequent the vacant boxes. The albino pair resorted to trying to build a nest on top of the boxes and even laid eggs, which of course feel to the floor and smashed (I managed to save one). I'm not sure if her submissivness has anything to do with being an albino as I've never had an albino before (I've had lutino fisches and had not such problems). Needless to say I've removed this pair and housed them into a cage on their own so we'll see if I have any success with them in there. Thought I'd share that with you.

Well the this pair currently have 2 4 week olds in the nest so they seem to be doing much better on their own. Interesting observation. I have spoken to another breeder who said he also has to seperate his albino bird to get any young from her.
