hi guys.. just want to ask, when is the breeding season here in australia for lovebirds?

it depends on your location as much as anything else. down here in SA mine breed anywhere from august through to february. i have sprinklers set up on the roof for hot days.

leave their nestbox in all year round, lovebirds roost in the box.

I'm on the NSW south coast and my birds started in February. The are thriving right now, where every pair is iether sitting on eggs or has young.
Personally I wouldn't get them started now, I'd wait till spring or just before it.
