Id say it has everything to do with Tingas reluctance to try new foods .
Persevere I guess and one day Tinga might surprise you .

Tried the madiera cake , it worked well but I still think Ill buy the Cornbread mix . It works for me and the healthfood shop can order it in pretty quickly . Creature of habit I guess . Thanks for all the tips folks .

Yup me too Jusdeb! I gave them the madeira cake and they wasted a lot, but the birdie bread goes down a treat!! Do you get the health food shop to order the Orgran one in for you? Thanks, Flossy

They will order it in for you . I find it cheaper to buy a dozen packs of Jiffy from USA groceries online , each pack is $1.99 plus about $10 postage. I do the the orgran one for the family , they love it with stews ( made for humans of course ).
The Jiffy is easy and always works out for me and the birds love it .
