Hi Charlene.....Welcome! There are a few of us who have lorries!! They are the nuts of the bird world! NEVER a dull moment when you have a lorrie! lol! Which I am sure you are already discovering!! I have 2 pet Lorries (used to have 6 pairs of breeders as well..).....Percy and Nelson....well Nelson is now Nellie..lol.... Percy is rude, offensive and cheeky!! BUT, I loveeeeeeeee him to bits! He makes us laugh and is super intelligent!! Nellie is gorgeous too....I rescued her a while back and is so in love with Percy it isn't funny!! You think one lorrie is entertaining!! When you have 2 or more...omg!! The things they do.....Enjoy Ozzy and keep us posted on his progress.... Flossy

Welcome Charlene, I also have 2 rainbow lorikeets (Butch and Cheeky).
Your little one is so cute. I love his name too. Looking forward to reading of his antics.

I would love to make friends with Lori owners too. Mine is more than a year old, she's a lovely little lady and her name is Laurie.

Hi Silverbreeze, welcome to the forum and to wonderful world of lorikeet ownership. Have you had Laurie for long?

Hi, and thank you for such a warm welcome! I had her since July last year, though it feels much much longer... I brought her home, when she was 6 month old already. Now we're best friends, and she learned a lot since then.

Hi everyone, I have had my rainbow lorikeet for about four months now. He had a hard start to life until i adopted him when he was four weeks old. Kevin(The rainbow lorikeet) came home with a green stick brake, after caring for him for about three weeks it was better. He has started talking like a guinea pig and is trying to talk. I am trying to stop him pooping outside of his cage, if you have any advice on how to stop it PLEASE tell me, I can not have him inside until he stops.
