Can you just clear up some details - are the two males, the normal and the blue, brothers from the same parents? From a pair that are a yellow opaline hen and a yellow pied male you should not be getting normal and blue offspring. If the parents are both split blue that might explain the blue son but a normal son shouldn't happen, he should be yellow (?lutino) if both parents are yellow - I assume you mean lutino?
Do you have photos of these two males, and their parents? Are the two birds you have posted pictures of anything to do with the ones you are asking the question about?
cheers,
Mike

Sounds a bit confusing - I look forward to some photos!!! I think there might be two different yellow mutations present so photos of the parents will be great to see - both back and front views is most useful.
cheers,
Mike

Thanks for putting up the photos - they will help a lot. I am short of time tonight but will have a good look at them tomorrow and try to see what might be happening.
