Would there b a problem if they did breed.? i have no intentions to breed them as i have no experience breeding birds. Thats the main reason im thinkinof gettin them sexed.

R u talking about breeding them ?? No, unless I misunderstood your first post, you were guessing that your Blue is a Female and your Lime green/yellow is a male. So, I was asking you to let us know when you get their sex confirmed if you guessed right

I'm not into breeding. My lorikeet pair laid their first egg and I'm so pleased nothing has come of it.

I got them as family pets not to breed.. Being so young the breeder I got them from wouldn't DNA sex them so When I take then for a check ill get them sexed. Only so i know if Benji n Skyla r really Benji n Skyla.. Certain things they do n the way they stand I am pretty sure they r male and female. Either way I'm happy as can be! They r just adorable and great company. The blue one is a quick learner I swear she does 'Wave' With her wing instead of her foot.. lol They already step up for me now I'm just a little confused to why Lutino thought I would b breeding them.. If they turn out to breed then ill come to deal with that at the time. Until that day I hope to learn as much as i can on lovebirds altogther. Its something I do with all the Pets I own.

Same here, mine are simply my sweet pets. I didn't know I had a pair until after I had them DNA sexed. I wanted to be be prepared, but will do what I can to make sure I have no babies here, but if they come I'll just have to deal with it I guess.
Also I got confused who I was speaking too, as you and lutino are using the same avatar, so I thought it was you asking me if I meant were you breeding. Sorry, I got a bit muddled up there

Did you get the results? really hard to tell just by looking at them, and even harder considering them having their backs to us in that particular photo, but I'd guess and say you are right. Don't let them fool you with their behaviour towards one another, they can trick even the most experience breeders. Proper names for them are Blue Masked and Yellow (dilute) masked.
