So as you all know we have recently rescued a cockie named ruby. I do expect her to squawk and be loud during the day, but shes screaming now. I have the advice: Cover her. (I do that every night regardless) Give her a special toy or food (only during night time squawk, so she knows that shes getting the treat and will only squawk if she doent get it at night time) Does anyone have any further advice on it? I would hate hate hate hate to see her have to go due to neighbours complaining (they havent yet, but im sure they will). Shes in her lovely new cage, which the clever bugger has firgured out to open and close!! I love her to death, she doesnt trust me yet. but shes slowly getting there. She loves my partner and her little eyes light up and the crest goes and she dances when she sees him, shes very much a mans bird!! She has tons of toys and food and water...just wondering what more i can do

does she talk?
Try distracting her when she's loud with a short whistle or phrase. When she does quieten down, reward her for her being quiet.
