Hey all.
Just thought I'd share a pic of my WIP.
Jezza and Mo are in good health.
However I am having a bit of trouble with Mo.
Mo has fallen for Jezza as I have mentioned before.
Mo wants to do some "bedroom Olympics" with Jezza.
Jezza doesn't want a bar of any of that. (thankfully)
So.... Mo has become frustrated.
Mo is now plucking feathers. *sigh*
He has plucked around his legs and various places under his wings and is now starting around his right shoulder and upper neck area.
Have had him to the Vet and they have ruled out skin issues or mites.
So, I am hitting a two fold plan to try and get him to stop.
1) I am trying some "stop picking" spray as recommended by Vet.
2) I am building a play area to hopefully him distract him. (see pic)
Neither has been too successful so far but, I am hoping.
I am willing to accept that there may be nothing that can be done.
Other than that they are good and a welcome addition to our family.
