They weren't hand reared (at least I think I remembered asking and being told they were aviary birds) but there are (or were a few weeks back) a pair of sun conures in a pet store in Sydney. If you are in Sydney and are interested I will figure out which of the 3 stores we visited that day these were in.
They weren't a proved pair. Just a male and female. It was worth the visit to that store, because I saw my first BF Amazon and Hans Macaw, which were both available for sale.

Thanks roybn but i've been offered a rainbow lorikeet which was my second bird i wanted so the suns gonna have to wait.
