Hi I'am getting my lutino ringneck bibi a mate but she is pastel blue will they mate Differing colours do not make any difference to their likelihood of mating - no colour prejudice in Ringnecks With a male lutino and a female pastel-blue, and assuming they are not split to any other colours, you will get the sons being green and split to lutino and pastel-blue, and the daughters being lutino and split to pastel-blue. So you will be able to sex the babies at hatch into green males and yellow females. If you get any other colours then one or both parents are carrying splits to other colours. cheers, Mike

how do u tell if your ring neck is split?? If you know what colour the parents were then the splits can be worked out but if you don't know that then there is no way to know the splits, if any, until you breed with it. If you know the colour of the mother and father I can tell you about the possible splits. cheers, Mike
