Hi - have had to take some of the eggs from my quails & put them in the incubator, they hatched yesterday, had a couple of casualties - but I am having major problems getting the tiny little bugga's to drink or eat, I lost another one this morning, am down to 3 from 6..... I tried the trick I use on my chooks - something shiny in the water I have even tried to eye drop a little, but they are just getting weaker & weaker......

Is it possible to put an adult quail in there with supervision? These little creatures are a pain. The food has to be really really tiny for them to eat it and mush is also good. They learn off thier parents so maybe try scattering some food on the ground and 'pecking' at it with your fingers. It's hard though.
