These are my new battery hens. They don't move much yet, nor are they eating. Hope they grow there feathers back. Attachments:

how did you come to be able to rehome them. They probably need to get used to the fact they can move around now. I watched a show the other day on bears in an asian country (didn't take much notice of what country it was) and some of these bears had been in cages for 20 years or more.........they couldn't move in these cages..........when they were released into a safe sanctuary they were shocked and scared and took some time to adjust to being on grass and not surrounded by a wire cage.

Well done for giving these chickens a second chance, if only there were more people who cared where their food came from and not just what goes in their mouth.

They're beautiful. It's awesome that you rescued them, they must have had a hard life up until now. Hopefully they'll get used to their new house quickly.
