So cute!
I used to handraise racing pigeons that were rejected/neglected by their parents as well as wild doves/pigeons that fell out of their nests (after storms especially). Have a soft spot for em!
Cheers for the pictures.

Thankyou That's cool that you used to raise baby doves & pigeons. They're such cute birds!

Senegals are very pretty doves - I've always had a liking for the smaller doves, especially the Masked Dove. I used to get some Senegal Doves to sell in our shop around 10 years ago, and they were popular, but the breeder moved away and I lost my source. He is looking good, apart from the pecking they are delightful birds to keep as a pet.
cheers,
Mike

Thanks guys. He is quite pretty & always on his best behaviour when there's a camera around If he didn't peck he'd be the perfect bird! At least he hasn't got a beak like a galah, so can't actually bite me. It's cool that you can get them as pets over there & its weird that we have different names for them...
