Hi,im karlee-im 12 years old and i live in the southwest of W.A  This is romeo,my 4 yearold show standard budgie.He is so talkitive,and says stuff such as: hello feed the guinipigs what ya doing? scratch scratch? don't bite me! (he learnt that when he was younger and used to bite  ) and many,many more-those are just the ones he says everyday.He also has a large sound vocabulary such as a telephone,whistling like i wistle to my dog,a "sexy" whistle and more  |

nice photo Karleee. Budgies are actually excellent little talkers but the males tend to be better (usually) than the females too. I have had a few pet budgies in the past that were excellent talkers........I reckon the next best talkers "that I have personally owned" are the eclectus parrots.

He really has beautiful colours. I am a new budgie owner. I didn't realise how beautiful they are. Romeo is gorgeous
