We've been away again. This time for a family reunion at Port Stephens. Very pretty place - but the sand flies down there gave me heaps. Usually I don't get bitten by mozies or any critters like that, but this time the sand flies at me alive. I look like I have chicken pox! We did have a lovely time. It was awesome to catch up with family I haven't seen in a while and of course, Chucky came along for the ride.

Thanks friends. I think she is beautiful, but I am a little biased! I love to take photos of her, 'cause when she is sitting on me, all I can see is a big red and blue fuzz. At least with the pics I can get a good look at her

Chuckles loves her harness. She is like a dog, as soon as I have her harness in my hands she gets all excited - 'cause Chucky knows it means she is going somewhere.

Ellen, looks like a lovely place. Love the bird and the photos. How did Chucky go with accepting the harness when you first tried it?

It was a lovely place, and that is only just a few of the photos that I took. I do tend to get a bit carried away with the camera some times.
As for the big girl and the harness. Well I am told I am one of the lucky ones, to have a female Ecky that is so understanding and so gentle. I have heard many stories about "bitchy" female eckies. Chuckles has been very accepting of anything new that I try with her. I do know my boundaries, however, and I never push them. Chuckles has been wearing her harness since the day dot. I've never cut her wings. And as I said, she gets very excited when I have either one of her harness's in my hands.
