Hi guys,
So some of you may have seen my post earlier in the lorikeet section about my scaly and rainbow getting loved up. Since I'm not a supporter of hybrids, I've decided to get each lorikeet their own partner and give breeding a go. I have bred budgies in the past, so I know some but not alot.
Could I just get any advice that you guys have to offer? Ive been looking around the net for hours this afternoon, some good info has popped up but its just not enough!
Please feel free to offer experiences also. Feel like being an information sponge!
Thanks!

Nope no aswers just yet So far Ive just made them comfortable and giving them heaps of veges and fruits along with their dry Lorikeet food and fresh water. Both pairs have partners and nest boxes... guess its just the hardest part now, waiting! hehe Thanks for asking Jack!

Hi guys, Could I just get any advice that you guys have to offer? Ive been looking around the net for hours this afternoon, some good info has popped up but its just not enough! It is always easier to answer specific questions - life is too short to write a book on breeding loris If you are really interested in breeding lorikeets perhaps look at joining the local club - scas.org.au/index.html There are some lorikeets breeders there, the secretary has a large collection of native and exotic loris for example. They will be having a display at the Nambour Show in June and then the Garden Expo at Nambour in July - I expect to be helping out at the displays for both. cheers, Mike
