Look at that sweet face! What a cutie pie. The scalloped feathers around a grey's face never cease to amaze me! They're so perfect and beautiful. : )

Hi Mike, Ra is home. I brought him home almost two weeks ago on two hand feedings a day. He is 37 grams now and I think he is ready to give up the feedings. I will keep weighing him to make sure he doesn't lose too much weight when weaning. "He" is really precious. I will know soon if he is male or female. He does baby babble and makes growling noises. He is always into something and can amuse himself quite well.

I will keep weighing him to make sure he doesn't lose too much weight when weaning. I doubt you mean 37 grams Montana - that would have been Ra's weight at about 6 days old  . Perhaps 370 grams? My two weigh about 550 and 490 grams respectively for Ernie and Jamila - now approaching 7 and 6 years old Photos please!!!! cheers, Mike |
