I was wondering is it legal to perform falconry in Australia as I would love to be able to do this as it just looks amazing. Or free flying of falcons/hawks.

I believe falconry is illegal in all states of Australia, although a limited number of people do hold special licences to keep and fly raptors. I think most will be part of zoo free flight shows. Contact your state government wildlife authorities for up-to-date information.
