I think she is, but I am a little biased. We have been away again (sort of love the travelling thing) and I took some more happy snaps. This one I couldn't resist sharing with you all. These blue faced honey eaters are so inquisitive. This fella just loved to see his reflection in the camera.  And here is Chucky taking in the views.  |

Travelling can be very addictive........ Chuckles seems to enjoy the life as well. What a lucky bird. Great photo of the honey eater I think you should enter it somewhere.

Yes it is addictive, Mick and I have always been travellers - we both love it - so it makes life very comfortable for both of us. We have finally made life a lot easier on ourselves by buying the caravan. We have been away 13 times in 13 months Chuckles has now clocked up over 80,000 kms. Thanks for the compliment about the honeyeater. I was just lucky enough to click at the right time. Hope you and all your birdies are well |

And they always seem to draw a crowd! she is still looking great - and her friend is OK as well. They do have a good life, all the tripping around they do. Pickles (cockbird) and Chuckles are just delightful. Everyday they bring me more pleasure. Their love is just so unconditional. Chuckles is still very much my girl and no one else can touch her, if they do - they usually lose a finger. But Pickles on the other hand, he is quite content to go to anyone. It can be quite challenging if I am nursing them both at the same time....lol

Another weekend away, just a few more happy snaps..  This is one of the birds that I have bred, Ringo I gave him to my brother and his wife. They love him.  This was taken on the same weekend, we went away AGAIN These two just loved the camera.  And I watched this little fella for ages, very entertaining. |

I used to share a lot more, but I found out that someone had used one of my pics and was making money out of it. Who knows how many more have been used that we don't know about. I don't mind if people use my pics for their own enjoyment, but not make money out of something that I own. There are some bad people out there!!!

There are some bad people out there!!! Have you considered placing a copyright on your photos? It won't stop the unscrupulous from using them, but it does give you some come back. |

I have on some photos. But as you say, it won't stop some people. It is just disturbing when you see your own photo, which was digitally changed to try and make it look like their own pic, being used and making a profit. Anyway it's their loss, I have the original, and they will never have the quality of the pic that I have I downsize most pics I put on the web, so they can really be used for anything too big. As I said, I am happy to share, but just don't make money out of my pics! I contacted the guy who was using the pic, and he said that he had purchased the pic of a site where I had posted the pic. So I contacted the site and they denied it, of course. Re-contacted him again, but after a lot of communication nothing happened. I have deleted the pic from the said site and also deleted my account there. I really don't like dishonest people! |
