hey guys i have a 9 week old scaley/rainbow and he is doing good but sometimes when i leave the room and come back in i will find him hiding in the corner behind the cloths hamper and he chirps a little bit when i find him and i reach down and pick him up and he squawks a bit but doesn't bite me so i don't know if he is scared of me or if thats him playing with me so if you guys have any ideas let me know thanks so much

He is probably a bit scared at being alone, so hides when you leave the room. The cheeps are possibly just a contact call to welcome you back. A young baby parrot instinctively thinks that he is prey for some larger animal - in the wild if his parents were not with him the instinct to probably to hide or be as unobtrusive as possible.
At such a young age I would not like to leave a single baby alone in a room - even for a couple of minutes - either take hi with you or if that isn't possible put him back in his cage until you return.
