Ever since I got my sc cockatoo, his feathers appear dirty. Yesterday I put in an orange calcium perch and I woke up and went to see him and he's covered in orange. Does this mean he's not cleaning himself or that he doesn't have enough powder feathers? Should I take him to the vet? Thank you

Can you post a photo or two - especially a close up of the beak.
Also if you run your hand through the feathers under the wing does your hand appear to have fine white powder on it - like talcum powder?
And how old is the bird, and was it aviary bred or wild caught?
cheers,
Mike
