Hi guys Been away from work for the last 9 weeks cos silly ol me fell over and smashed my knee cap to bits One surgery, 4 screws and wiring I can know walk again even though it's very slowly. My birds have been fine, my turks are starting to breed again and the male canaries are squabbling again so looks like breeding time for them too! Hope you all have been well and sorry if i missed any events like a loved one passing etc.

Best of luck with the recovery Anzac. I've had several ops on my left foot and ankle and realise it's no fun. My best advice would be to do as much work as you can in the recovery stages with physio ect because you'll definately see the benifits in the long run. Best of luck.

Wow That looks interesting. And I am sure very painful! I find it amazing what they can do now, and to be able to show us in detail is just amazing. Glad to hear you are back on the mend again and Gerard - it's been a while!

Thanks for the well wishes guys. I can actually feel one of the screws protruding out now, yuk! Problem is too I want to fly to Syd in a few weeks time and I still can't do stairs! The only place in Australia that Jetstar doesn't have an aero bridge is Perth, they load you on from the tarmac, that should be fun!

Oh that all sounds very painful..... I'm having a knee replacement in January so I guess I'll be in the same boat.

Oh dear Laraine, that doesn't sound good either, unfortunately the recovery phase is a little longer the older we get
