Hi everyone, My diamond dove pair has two chicks ;D (I only found out yesterday... But they must be 3-4 days old) since both the parents look like the wild diamond dove, could one be split to the white or silver mutation? Because one chick looks white while the other looks normal (the normal is younger) Thanks in advance, Zena Attachments:

Yes it looks like a silver at this stage - when they are fully feathered we can be sure of that. It is a common mutation in the Diamond Doves. Silver is a recessive gene so both parents must be split for silver if indeed it is a silver Diamond.
Congratulations on the babies as well!
