My male princess parrot, who was previously scared of my hands, has decided that my hands aren't as scary as he thought. When I entered the aviary yesterday he flew up onto the wire next to my hand and nibbled at my fingers, then he flew to the other side of the aviary, next to his mate. I picked up the seed feeder/container and nearly had a heart attack! He flew at me full speed, tangled himself in my hair and then sat on top of my head, it was one of those moments where I was thinking 'did that just happen? I think I almost died!' Today he flew onto my arm and tasted(?) my clothes. It was much calmer... I think he's under a year old, he doesn't have the spatula feather yet... The female, Zena is still scared of me though...
