I got given a Lorikeet that we think is an escaped tame one. It was only little when it came to me a few months ago. Anyway I was wondering how to tell if it's a male or female.

I got given a Lorikeet that we think is an escaped tame one. It was only little when it came to me a few months ago. Anyway I was wondering how to tell if it's a male or female. With difficulty - with a lot of experience I can usually get it right but it is more a feel for the bird after watching it a while rather than any specific criteria, and that after selling them for 20 plus years. If you want to know then get a DNA test done. cheers, Mike |
