Princess Parrot Breeding

Hi everyone,
What is the age that male and female Princess Parrots usually start breeding? (I've tryed looking on thye internet, but its mostly about the time of year they breed, and nestbox measurments, ect.)

12 months is possible but not common - 2 years is pretty reliable for them to start breeding and it is not unusual for a 2 year old and a 1 year old to breed - especially if the 2 year old one is a male. They should continue to breed until well into their teens.

If a pair do breed before 2 years then they will often be terrible parents and a close watch needs to be kept on the babies with hand rearing often needed.
