Princess Parrot Rubbing Beak Against Aviary

Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone knows why my male princess rubs his beak against the inside of the aviary (The parts that have metal, like the back, parts of the side). He does it a lot (he doesn't have mites or anything)

i thought it was odd, but i think it might have something with him trying to win over his mate (she has shown no interest in him) he does it, and today i saw that after he did it he did that crest thing ;D XD
