Hi everyone,
My female cinnamon quails' eggs hatched yesterday!
;D Well all of them except for one... they're so cute! :3 Most of them are the normal colour (Black with dark brown parts) but one is (I think maybe cinnamon?) it's dark brown instead of black with lighter brown parts (Or maybe its grayish, I didn't get a good look, they were all running away under the parents...) I'd been told the male has nothing to do with the babies (?) but this one will sit on them and defend them (A curious Diamond Dove went to have look and he attacked it!). One baby was running around everywhere, and it tried to get underneath the other two females, the kept running away... (So I guess that other females don't have anything to do with the babies?) I haven't been able to get any photos yet... ;D
