Hi,
I have a male sulphur crested cockatoo that I would estimate to be around 10-15 years old.
He is tame, will cuddle, step on your hand, be patted on your lap for hours, gets in and out of his cage or will go on a stand.
This bird will be a FAMILY member. He talks, barks and he very very rarely 'screams' though he does hoot if he feels lonely and he does like to be with you when you're home.
He trusts dogs, so if you have a large dog he's not for you.
He comes with a large modern cage that's around 6' high with a large door (this is free as well).
You would have to pick him up and I live approximately 3 hours drive south from Sydney airport.
I can't and won't just be giving him to anybody. So you will need to write to me and tell me what type of a home you can offer him and what type of a life you can give him.
Please don't ask for him if you can't offer him endless love, attention and a wonderful home.
Anybody who thinks they have what it takes to give him a wonderful life.....could they please contact me in this thread or by private message so I can learn a bit about you and your living circumstances etc
Sorry to be so demanding....but he is just not going to be placed with anyone. This is a loving trusting cocky and this is breaking my heart and I need to know that he will be loved and cherished.
