Dear little Tilly came into our lives yesterday afternoon and has taken over our home and our hearts. She has the sweetest, gentlest nature and has settled in so quickly. She came to us with her own DNA Sexing Certificate just to prove she is a young lady. She loves her fruit and vegetables, and today I offered her peas and corn, capsicum, celery stalks and leaves, grated carrot, and seedless grapes, all of which she devoured with great gusto. She also loves Trill Cockatiel Mix and Vetafarm Mini Pellets, and really enjoys her food. She is so tame, and just loves her out of cage time, which she had plenty of today, but is also quite happy to sit in her cage with the door wide open and have a rest and enjoy her food. Here are some photos I've just taken of her sitting on her play gym, which she just loves, and one of her cage set up with door wide open and her inside, though she's difficult to see in this photo. We have her cage positioned where we can interact with her most of the time, which means that she can see us most of the time. Her out of cage time is always supervised.

Can anyone identify Tilly's mutation from these photos please? The colouring on her wings and chest is a very pale sivler grey.

Looks like a Platinum Pearl-Pied. A combination of three mutations, Platinum, Pied and Pearl. Very pretty cockatiel. She has quite a strong yellow colour for a young bird - it will be interesting to see her in a year's time when her colours have fully developed, should be a stunner!!
cheers,
Mike

Thanks for that Mike, I really appreciate your thoughts. She's a stunner in my eyes now, but I know what you mean. I'll be posting photos of her here from time to time, so you can see how she develops.
