Hi everyone, I got a surprise today, I was going to remove the nestboxes I have in with my budgie pair (Female has cancer...) but as I was about I took a look in one and there was two almost fully fledged baby budgies! I have no idea she had any- every time I looked there was nothing in there. She must be very good at hiding her chicks from me. I did check daily, sometimes she did run/fly inot the box though... One chick is pure white (Black eyes), and the other is a violet...

Congratulations that's really good news. How is the mother bird with the cancer doing?

I accidentally put this in the wrong area, but the chicks are very healthy, this morning the white one was sitting in the nest box entrance hole, so I think at least one will be out today ;D My hen is good- well she still looks healthy and is still very active. considering what the vet told me (She would most likely have died a while ago...)
