URGENT home needed Sulpher Crested Cockatoo

Hi every one. I am wondering if some kind person in Melbourne, Victoria could offer a home to a beautiful Sulpher Crested Cockatoo.
I am sure this bird is a male and landed on my fence in January. Tried to find his owner but no success. Checked with neighbors if they would be OK if we kept him and they said yes. Bought biggest cage we could which was $500
Bird never stops talking and very friendly and loving and loves his cuddles. Needy for human attention but because we have cats and dogs we cannot let him out of his cage.
Because of this he does become noisy and my back neighbor who wanted me to keep Cockie has complained to the council along with her other neighbor. The other neighbor let him out of the cage in February but I managed to get him back.
I have a couple of weeks to rehome him. So worried as he loves what we feed him, we sing and dance with him and he is happy apart from not being able to come out of his cage. I would so love him to go to a loving home with someone that would love him and give him the attention he craves.
I had posted before but desperate now the council have given me a couple of weeks before I am fined and the bird confiscated. I feel so stressed.
Any help would be very much appreciated.

Have you tried placing an ad on Gumtree, it's free and gets a lot of looks.

Thanks John. That's where I tried to trace his original owner from. Worries me that when you place them on their free you could get just anyone but I am desperate so maybe it it the way to go. I just want him to go to a good home that will give him the attention he needs. He is such a beautiful bird and talks so well. He's not one to just sit as he thinks he is human so part of his problem. He wants to be inside but I have schnauzers and cats who think he may be breakfast so it's been hard. The complainers that live behind I spoke to before I bought the cage.

Hi I had a princess parrot - but she got out on Sunday - my grand-daughter opened the cage- So I have a good home for it.
I have Looked after a corella for several months - before finding it a new home. She would sit on my shoulder while I walked to school and talk to me. She was cute.
I would give it a loving home. please consider me - even for short term or long term - until the owner is found - willing to mind it ....... I have plenty of time - as I don't work and am at home most of the time. If you want to meet me please feel free ........ I love birds......... regards Aletta (98122455)

I am in North Ringwood- Forgot to mention that - Willing to take her/him off your hands......... I have lots of time on mine so it wouldn't be lonely.......
