My cinnamon quail hen has eggs again! She was incubating seven but my male princess decide it would be a good idea to mess around with her eggs
which is quite annoying, and I now know why the male quail is out of get him- in a sense. The cinnamon he is the only one that incubates her eggs and because she lost two- she was running around looking for them for a while being very loud... I have fostered two eggs from one of the hens. I did find the eggs- quite a while later they were both cold- how long do quail eggs stay alive? I also know that the male is split to cinnamon because two of their last chicks were the same colour as the mother- but only one survived the other got sick and I took it to the vet but it still died (It was an avian vet...)
