Hi all, Yesterday Storm died, she had some kind of cancer, and freaked my out when I took her out of the aviary and she didn't try an run away Her mate was calling for her all yesterday The darker bird is her mate- this photo is from when they were in the breeding cage (90cm x 1.3m)

I'm so sorry for your loss, from personal experience I know just how much pain is involved when we lose one of our feathered pets, it's like loosing a famiy member.

I guess you can't exactly know how attached to them you are... I lost a canary the day after- about a week before I almost lost my female princess... just lucky I found out what was wrong with her. The vet had no idea...
