Our new member Sam the a galah

Hi all,

Meet Sam , the kids named him , he is doing very well , still pecking at the hands but with love , care and patience we will get there, he is on low fat pellets, millet, fruit and veggies , made a skewer with different fruits and veggies, really bonding with my 9 year old son but, he wears gloves as the pecking hurts as he says .
Looking forward to get him to be a fine bird , any advice would be much appreciated and always welcome.

I have not started the up stage yet , just working on the pecking.
