Hello,
I rescued a couple of pink and greys about 2 months ago, they were not being given the attention they deserved. The are aviary birds. The "GIRL" was a serious biter and the "BOY" was a'lot younger but a'lot more tame. I say "GIRL" and "BOY" as they were not sexed.
Anyway, they are fitting in well and are no longer constant biters. But they dont talk or sing unless it is dark. In the Dark the "BOY" sings, whistles and dances like a professional!!
How can I get them to sing etc during the light?
Thanks Shane

Thanks Shane Hi Shane, welcome to the Forum. Basically it will just take patience - if they have had a stressed life before you got them it will take a while for them to recover their confidence and feel relaxed enough to vocalize during the day. In the meantime talk to them, make them feel comfortable around you and in their aviary, good food, toy sto play with, things to chew - lots of things to chew - and they will settle in and probably become noisier than you want cheers Mike
