Ok do we still have 20 last post i didnot see it hope everyone has been well . now a pic of a quaker need help with the wing the flight feathers curled up then went flacky a broke off . It isn't called "20 last posts" any more but instead is "Recent Posts" and is in much the same position near the bottom of the Home page. Seems to vary a bit in the number - around 15 usually. That Quaker has some strange flight feathers!! I've seen similar in tail feathers but not flight feathers. In tail feathers it seems to have been just damage - climbing around a cage or aviary and getting the feathers caught in the wire and bending them. Could it be from doing a lot of wing flapping in a cage and bashing the outer feathers against the side of the cage? The inner feathers look fine, with just the outer ones looking deformed, suggesting to me it might be damage rather than some more sinister cause. How has it been housed, and how old is the bird? What other birds has it been living with? I assume the yellow colour in a couple of the photos is just an photographic effect from the flash being close to the bird? cheers, Mike

Do you mean the rough looking feathers on the underside of the Corella, or the Galah snuggling up to the Corella? If it is the feathers then it isn't very clear in the photo but maybe self chewing of the feathers? cheers,
Mike
