I've had different people say the cock has an orange spot on the abdo and some say not always. I have this ? pied that i don't know what sex it is. Regards Greg

Regards Greg With a pied Elegant I think all bets are off with orange spots - they are lost as a result of the pied factor although usually present in the normal cock. Many hens will retain a faint white stripe on the underside of the wings - absent in males. However the key words are most hens so a stripe means hen and no stripe means likely cock but not certain. However looking at your photos, the frontal blue band looks pretty strong and I would be confident from the photo saying you have a cock. cheers, Mike

I was fairly certain it was the parent of a Lutino I bred but was unsure of the gender.
