What bird is this ?

Hello , my name is Russell , nickname Rusty .

I live on the south east coast of N.S.W.

My weekend hobby is exploring and recording the forest and it's creatures .

I found a picture off my time lapse camera of a bird I cant recognise . It has a beak like a finch and spots like a finch but I cant find a picture of it in any book or online .

Any help would be appreciated .
