My daughter and I have just found a baby bird on our driveway who must have flown the nest and maybe over-estimated himself. She's currently on the phone to WIRES, but what species is it and what should we do until then? Its currently in the laundry in a guinea pig cage with a towel on top, away from people & pets like advised. Its raining out, so I have a snake heat lamp on too.
