Hi my lorikeet has got 2 lumps on it's head with holes in both its my first lorikeet.. any ideas would be very appreciated.

Hi. He is in a large cage. No there are no shrape objects in his cage to harm him. No there isnt another bird in the cage with him. Yes he will play with my partner but doesn't like to be held. As thats how we were able to have a look at the lumps. As I said he has two lumps on the top of his head one has a hold in it where it looks like there was once a feather. And the other has a yellow spot on it.

No he stays in side very rarely does he go out side. And no he as had no trauma to his head. We put betadine on it. Spoke to a vet on the phone. She said it could be a puss infection. But not sure if it is. He doesn't seem to be that bothered by it and has not changed his behavior. Im just really concerned about it.

No he isnt outside most of the time he is in side. Read the other messages befor relying please. Im not asking about his behavior I was just stating the he hasnt changed his behavior. Yes I agree its probably best he see a vet but I dont have the moneyat this point to take him.
