It is with a heavy heart that I am selling my two year old, male Eclectus Parrot, Finn, due to not being able to give him the time and attention he deserves with my now, hectic work schedule. He is a beautiful, chatty & playful bird that loves people and needs an owner that is able to spend more time with him than I can. He is very affectionate towards anyone he meets and once you learn to show confidence and read his body language, handling him is very simple. Finn is toilet trained & can say a few words, but could easily be trained further. He often repeats things after hearing them once. A prospective carer would need to be able to feed him a balanced diet, as an Eclectus cannot live a healthy life on seeds and pellets. He can be fussy, but if you experiment with different ways of offering him less popular foods he will find them more interesting. He has a large high quality cage and accessories/toys. Finn is a lovely bird and my little buddy. I will be sad to lose him but it’s for the best. Serious enquiries only please. No pet shops. Asking for $800 (cage included) but I am happy to negotiate on price with someone that seems to fit well with him.
