Hi,
I've joined this Forum to try and find some answers as to why and how to stop Lotikeets running into our Glass back door. We have a beautiful Gravelia in full flower in our yard and it is attracting many native birds but most of the crowd are Lorikeets. For the past 2 weeks they are constantly smashing into our back door. At first I thought it may have been the reflection on the sun throwing them off but it is all times of the day. Some times we can have 3 within 10 minutes. They hit it so hard sometimes they hit the ground and are stunned and fly off when I go to rescue them. I'm worried they are going to get injured or even die. Is there any way I can stop this or why this is happening? This is the 3rd year our tree has flowered and the 1st year this has happened.
