Hi all I am new here so please bear with me 
I am looking at getting an alexandrine but I'm not sure. I have year 12 next year but I don't think that is too much of an issue. I had a budgie when I was little, and have a magpie in care at the moment (we are part of fawna) who I would say is similar to a parrot in needs. Mess also doesn't bother me. I'm just worried about it being too loud, I can stand a little bit but not sure about my parents
. I'm also worried about how long they live for, to some extent. I am looking at one currently that is parent raised, but I don't know if it wil like my company as much as hand raised one.
Can anyone shed some light on what might be a better choice as to get one or not? Personal experiences? And is it normal to be unsure/worried?
